ECPC2027 is not only about discussing the future. We are committed to organising it responsibly.

Our sustainability approach is guided by the principles of ISO 20121 (Event Sustainability Management Systems), ensuring a structured, measurable and continuously improving framework for responsible event management.

We believe that a high-level international scientific conference can be both academically excellent and sustainably organised. For us, sustainability is not an add-on — it is a mark of quality.

Large-scale events consume resources. Our responsibility is to make informed and measurable decisions.

  • Prioritising digital solutions and reducing paper use
  • Choosing environmentally friendly and reusable materials
  • Optimising energy and water consumption
  • Encouraging public transport and offering remote participation options
  • Organising effective waste sorting and reduction

We measure CO₂ emissions, resource use, and waste generation, and evaluate results against clearly defined objectives in line with ISO 20121 principles.

Because sustainability must be measurable — not declarative.
